Helping Hands Coronavirus Response
Helping Hands Veterinary Care is continuing to follow the constant stream of news and information emerging about Coronavirus (COVID-19). The health, safety and well being of our staff, our patients and the community continue to be our number one priority. We are closely monitoring guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and state and local health officials for guidance to inform our decisions.
Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to spread and raise concerns, causing many hospitals near us to close. Helping Hands wants to continue to be a valuable resource for our veterinary community.
We are aware that some clinics and hospitals may have staff shortages or may have to restrict patient services during this time. As a way to try and maintain coverage for your pet’s Surgical and Dental needs, and provide necessary patient care for our community, we are implementing some changes, including curbside check-in and curbside pick-up.
We have also changed some of our in-hospital protocols to reduce staff exposure risk.
We understand that this is a rapidly changing situation. If you have any questions about our new hours or a specific case, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.
Thank you for your consideration,
